Area residents have a chance to feel like a king or queen at KnightsCourt, a new patisserie in downtown St. Charles.

It not only is the shop's regal English-style décor and traditional baked goods that help transform one back in time to the days of King Arthur. Its owners are English natives, too, and one of them has even decorated official wedding cakes for Princess Diana and Princess Anne.

KnightsCourt owners Rosemarie Campbell and Jacqueline Kennerley wanted to create an old English tearoom for the backdrop of their patisserie, which serves European pastries.
